Brought my car to have it rechecked after another service station made some recommendations. The owner of Herr's was a complete professional, verified the work was necessary, but was more competive price wise. My daughter uses this repair facility, and now I will too. Excellent workmanship, reasonable prices, and an honest businessman.

The best shop around. Honest and reliable. Hans and Steven Assenmacher are the owners. They are some team. You will never by disappointed. They can fix anything! They also have a used car lot on site too! They got it all! You got to go there and see.
I will never go any where else.
Check it out!!!

This guy is the worst!!

Avoid this phony doctor at all costs. Guy doesn't know how to diagnose the problems in my car. He like to show up when he feels like it even when you set up a specific time with him. Then he sometimes feels the need not to show up or respond to your calls. Basically, he was a waste of my time and money. You'll be sorry if you use him. Don't get taken like I did.

I wish I had done my research before I went here. Turns out this place has quite a bit of unhappy customers out there, lots of bad reviews on the web! But I did not know this, and really did not know much about car problems. My transmission was having problems in a relatively new toyota, so I took it to these guys. They said they would take a look and call me in a few hours. Okay, the day went by, then the next day. Each time I called they said they were not ready. The best response was when someone named Eugene didn't even know that the car was there... by the way he is a manager or something. Finally I went down there and said never mind, I can't spend all week waiting for your quote. They charged me almost a thousand bucks for the "estimate" by the way, I never even got that estimate. I took it to another shop, and they FIXED my car for 300 dollars, and it's been fine ever since.

Not what is used to be

Troppoli Collision, on 8 memorial drive in Neptune 732-774-6164 is not what is used to be. Rumor has it, that it was sold to some new owners from out of state that doesn't know what they are doing in 2008. When I brought my car to them for repair like usual in 2008 the difference showed! I did not get me car back on time as promised and also had to pay part of my car rental because the repair took so long!
I wish the old owner Rich Troppoli was still running the show. Rich Troppoli's other shop on route 33 in neptune 732-774-3344 is still run by the real Rich Troppoli, and manager Edward Cummings. This shop still gets my work because they do an outstanding job on repairing all mechanical work that is needed.
I give Troppoli Collision on memorial ( A DMD COMPANY ) 3 thumbs down and will never go back again.
Rich Troppoli Auto Repair on rt 33 gets 4 thumbs up !

Price Gouging!

Over $5,700.00 for a ten mile tow. Oh yes, let us not forget the clean up involved, twenty minutes with a broom. Is this how you treat all customers or just trucking companies out of state. What a rip!

Worst experience

on Otto Clinic
|
I took my Jeep into the Otto Clinic as a result of an emergency. While his shop did repair the problem, it created a problem by cutting into two of the plastic fender shields under my car, rather than removing them to repair the problem. To replace ONE of these will cost over $400 by the dealer. When I wrote to Mr. Otto he denied responsibility and was impolite as well.
Additionally, while I sat in the shop waiting during the hours it took to complete the job, I overheard Mr. Otto speak rudely about existing customers and their cars, as well as being rude to his office staff.
I would NEVER, under any circumstances recommend his shop.

HORRIBLE!

This place is HORRIBLE.
He tried to charge me for a whole new transmission when it was only the throwout bearing.
I would even recommend Wal-Mart over this place.
And also, the guy working there, Tom, is very rude to 99% of his customers.
