Do not take your vehicle to get repairs or your oil changed here.
I recently brought in my vehicle for a brake replacement, speed sensor replacement and an oil change only to discover that they simply reset my computer without doing any work. They charged me 800 dollars and I am currently considering legal action against this dishonest business.

Beware and Avoid! Read the review..

Fraudulent Estimates, Charging for Services Not Performed (Lost Estimates), Customer's Verbal Abuse, Extortion, Destruction of Property.
Beware and Avoid!!!
"Pro Diesel & Transmission", "Central Automotive Repair Service", "Elite Transportation Associates" are run by "All Safe Towing & Recovery" (search the news about them!)
STAY AWAY from all of them. (See their BBB rating!) I was charged and paid $325.00 for an estimate of repairs. These repairs were explained to me verbally over the phone (price quoted was $2000.00). When I arrived at the place of business to proceed with repairs the business had moved and my bus was gone. It took me a while to find the new location and my bus. When I arrived to the new location to inquire about the repairs I was told all the paperwork with the estimate and proposed repairs was lost. They said I would have to pay for another estimate. I told them I would not pay for another estimate and that I wanted to take my bus. They refused to let me have my bus, I was verbally assaulted and I was told to leave. I had to contact Sheriffs office to get my bus back. When I got my bus back I was unable to start my bus (they killed brand new batteries) and interior was in horrible shape. I had to call another service to start my bus and when it was taken to new mechanic I was told that the company (and its variations) are known crooks, verbal estimates were fraudulent (bus was repaired for $600.00), and it is best to stay away from them. So I guess you can say I was lucky!

I bought a used Audi with lots of lights on, the dealership wanted to charge me a fortune. A guy gave me a coupon for Corey's shop at a gas station, so I took a chance and used him. The best choice I have made. I now recommend him to all my friends. He has change his name to R&D Automotive, he is in the same place. I think he has a website coming.. rdautomotivellc.com

World's Most Honest Garage

Wayne Hodge has worked on my 1996 Volvo 960 twice and each time he calls and tells me everything that is wrong and how much it will cost before he does anything. This time I had to take a cab back to his shop and he took off 10% of the labor to comp my cab fare. I couldn't ask for a greater mechanic.

Watch out for Cromer Auto

Cromer Auto Repair is operated by crooks. I wish I would have been informed about them before I took my vehicle there. I took my vehicle there for a year or so and was a loyal customer because I thought they looked out for customers. But I was wrong. My car was broken into on their lot and had several expensive things stolen, including the stereo. They waited a day to inform me of this and then refused to repair the damages. They said that they were not liable, so I got stuck with over $700 of damage because Cromer is slack when it comes to your car's safety. I asked if they had the gate locked and they said that the fence didn't surround the entire lot. Then when I asked if they had it on their security cameras they told me that their cameras didn't actually work. I was appalled and have told many people this nightmare so that they will not be done wrong by Cromer Auto.

I had been dealing with CIA for a while getting improvements to my car, and on my last trip there... i left my son's Christmas gifts in the trunk. Sure enough everything was missing upon my return to pick my car up. i later found out through the owner's son that the owner had taken my son's Christmas gifts, after insisting he knew nothing.

Scammer Alert

Stay away from this place. **** is a complete ******* and will rip you off. Said we needed an alternator and when I told him that we found one at Advance for less than he quoted(we were aware that he would mark it up) he got all pissed off and said that he wouldn't do the job unless he ordered it. Anyway after trying to communicate with him nicely, he said he wouldn't do it no matter what. Well, thank goodness for that. We took it to another place, Augers Automotive Repair, and come to find out that the belt for the alternator was completely missing. We had previuosly asked **** at CT's to check that and he said that was not the problem. Bottom line.........Stay away from CT's Auto Service

heard that this shop was good but pricey, but it is convenient to my work so I left it there for an inspection. I was told that the inspection failed because of a leak in the exhaust system, and the repair would be $275. They replaced a light bulb.
I got a second opinion from Midas and had the exhaust issue fixed by Midas for $105.
I took it back and got a surly desk clerk who's cheesy bio clearly stated that he was overqualified to be a grease monkey, with a PHD in computer science or some similar degree unrelated to car repair. They re-inspected and charged me for another light bulb. I did not argue the point that it was unlikely that I had another bulb go out in a few days. STAY AWAY

Kim, Ryan and all the folks at German Imports take pride in their work. Customer Service is great, prices are fair and best of all the car is ready when they say it will be. They will be the only shop to work on my VW.
