Horrible Service

Terrible service. Brought my camry in for a routine oil change since I live nearby, was told it needed new belts and an engine flush. Declined, drove to west herr toyota where I usually go since it was culligan and was told everything was working perfectly. Charged $21 instead of the $27 Gerry's wanted to charge me, plus whatever hundreds of dollars they wanted for the wasted service. Gross overcharging, don't bother with these guys.

SERVICE WITH A SMILE

Marino's a fixture in Ozone Park. Trustworthy mechanic and owner "Sal"... a motorhead... guarantees his work in an atmosphere that feels more small town than NYC. A place to see friends, gas up, get an oil change, or hear the latest news with a local flare. Sal kept my old car running and now maintains my new one... nobody touches my car but Sal. reasonable rates... epsecially compared to the dealerships who rip you off... If you need your car if you love your car...Marinos is worth the trip.

Broght my car in for an emergency repair. Had never been their before , i was traveling through the neighborhood on th eway to an interview when i my car started overheating, Apolice officer stopped to make sure I was alright , he told me it looked like i would need a mechanic , he then recomended me to this place and followed me there a couple of blocks, I then met the owner gary who got me to my interview in time fixed my car for less than $100 and snt me on my way. The whole time treating me like a true professional. I do not live close to them, But I WOULD DEFINITLY RECOMMEND THEM to anyone in their neighborhood, and i would not hesitate to bring my car to their shop again, if i needed any major repairs.
THANKS to the guys at Gods way and i guess God Bless

I've had several foreign cars and Ed is by far the best mechanic for the little buggers! He fixes 'em right the first time and is reasonably priced.

Back in November I took my 2006 Ford Explorer to them for a simple driver side rear axle seal leak. The next day I picked it up after they charged me $315.00 for the "fix." Little did I know they completely messed up my 4 wheel drive system. The 4x4 malfunction light was on, ABS light and ESB light. My car was sputtering when I left the parking lot so I called them complaining about the problem and they said they were unaware of what they did and wanted to charge me a $59.00 diagnostic fee to find out what THEY messed up. I said no and took it to Dealmaker Ford where they concluded that G-Wizz Auto broke the tone rings on both rear wheels. G-Wizz refuses to admit to the fact that they were the cause of the problem and didn't refund any of my money nor reimburse me for the new fix. DO NOT GO THERE! They are all young mechanics with little to no experience and are looking for a quick buck!!

This shop has the best mechanic I've been to. I was always feeling I was getting ripped off by other places I went been to. A friend of mine recommended JWL to me and I'm so glad he did. I can drive with confidence now knowing its been repaired right.

Wish I'd Read This Site First!

I brought my 2001 Echo to Penn for an oil change this morning. Before I left they had convinced me I needed a "schedule B" maintenance at $105 - checking the brakes, fluids, battery, rotate tires, etc. An hour later, they called me to tell me I needed a power steering system flush and a throttle body service (WTF?) at another couple of hundred dollars. By the time I picked up the car it was over $400 and after reading these reviews, I'm wondering if the car even really needed any of this work. It only has 20000 miles on it!
This was the first (and maybe last) time I've brought my car to a dealer for service. I went in for a $21.95 oil change special and I got taken for an expensive ride.
