I've had my fill of grease monkeys who go ahead and change parts or perform work without authorization, claiming that 'it needed to be done so we did it', so it was with some cynicism that I followed a work colleague's recommendation in taking my Volvo to Boetler. I couldn't be more pleased with the service, extremely courteous, efficient, polite, pleasant and professional, constantly calling to appraise me of the situation and very reasonably priced. Older gentlemen who obviously know their stuff and are interested in running a business built on reputation and repeat custom. Highly recommended.

I do not recommend anyone in my opinion to go to this dealer (Fogles auto) Please be aware of the high pricing and rude customer skills. My intentions were to get a car that actually ran so please be careful. High prices as well as little to no help when problems occur. They sell cars of high mileage and overprices as well as they do not fix problems that were in the cars they sell to begin with.

Do not purchase a car from Fogles auto in Middletown maryland. HIGH pricing. Cars sold with defective problems. Cars sold there have atleast 5-6 maybe 7 owners before you if you choose to purchase one! But in my opinion I would never go into this place again. Rude and disrespectful. Be cautious and turn away from this rip off auto dealer!

Went in to get an Alternator replaced and asked about some other things to be done. I was charged $319.00 for the Napa Alternator (I could buy it for 160.00). For 2.2 hours of labor I was charged 238.00. That is about 96.00 an hour for labor. Even asked **** about this and was told that they had to make money. Called numerous Auto repair shops in the area (average labor 78.00) Also upcharge on parts approximately 10 to 15% NOT doubling the price. They were also going to charge me an additional labor charge to replace the Alternator belt....Decided against having any other work done and am reporting them to the Better business bureau... Suggestion NOT Don't go there!!

Maintenance shop

Do not take your car here for maintenance. Go next door to the Sunoco station where you will be treated fairly. Recently had maintenance performed here for a routine emissions code (EGR). They over charged the job by almost 100%. Normally to change an EGR valve on this specific model automobile is an hour job total. They charged four hours labor, $90 diagnostic fee. For a job that should have cost around $450 they charged over $900. $479 was labor. What a joke.

Not the same auto ronnie

There used to be a nice man named Ronnie who ran this shop but it is not the same one anymore. I am not sure if the shop has been sold or renamed or what. I found out he moved his shop up to Monrovia Maryland to be closer to his home and family. I still take my car up there when I can, he is worth it!
His website is AutoRonnie.com if you are looking for him too!

Horrific Experience

Uncivil behavior from employees. Owner argued, yelled, and used profanity rather than listen to my concerns. Disrespectful treatment was received. I was insulted and ridiculed. Owner talked to me, as well as my spouse in a demeaning manner. Owner also constantly contradicted himself in his arguments. Very poor and unprofessional behavior from every single employee there. Advice for those who have had a negative experience with this company - Report your complaints to the Better Business Bureau.

Avoid costly auto repair costs by comparing repair quotes with several auto body shops in your area. Some auto repair centers specialize in specific types of service such as glass repair, A/C repair, and car stereo repair. Other types of common auto repairs are windows, brakes, clutch, exhaust, heater, muffler and radiator repairs.
