I took my 1997 toyota camry to gear-n-teed transmission. And I dealt with ron I told him I would go out of my way to do this because I own a business and I understand that when people go out of there way to help other people like I was treated at that establishment it always goes unheard of he was able to fix my car and put me in a rental free of charge. And was kind and curtious of my dilemma. But when people get upset they go out of there way to hurt someone. He was very proffesional and I would recommend anyone to have there car repaired there I rate them a 8 out of ten not the biggest but very curtious and understanding.

Lousy Place

I brought my 1 year old truck in because it was making an awful noise. They told me it needed a whole new exhaust because that was what was making the noise. It was going to cost 1500.00. I didn't have the money at the time so I took it home. My friend looked at it later that day and said the exhaust was fine. There were some bolts loose on some sheet metal. My friend tightened the bolts and no more noise. Buyer Beware!

Pauls Auto Service always seems to be looking for the interest of their customers. I have had several auto repairs done with this company and everytime I go somewhere else, I end up paying too much and not being entirely satisfied with the services provided. Paul's always seems to make me feel comfortable with the services they provide and I am always happy with the price. They are friendly, and professional. Thanks Paul's Garage You Guys are The Best!!

Unhappy Patton Customer

Less than one star. I bought a car from Patton, was told the power door locks would be fixed. I made numerous attempts to have it fixed, but there was always some reason they could not fix my car. They returned one out of every 10-15 phone calls. 3 mos. later, my car is still not fixed. The last time I took it in to have it fixed, I left crying because they had wasted my time and gas money AGAIN. My husband bought the parts I need, spent 3 hours trying to fix it. Now, we find out the power door lock unit is fried, so we will have to buy that as well. I thought buying from a small family owned dealer was a good idea, it was not. I have dealt with larger dealers and never been taken advantage of like this. In 3 mos the car needed new brakes, new muffler, the dash lights/radio lights don’t work all the time, it was supposed to get 35 MPG, I'm averaging 29 MPG. Now, there is a hissing noise, who knows how much that will cost, all because I trusted a family owned business.

HORRIBLE SERVICE
I had to take my car here to have a repair done. The first repair there was no issue. The second time I took it there per the warranty company they still have my car 2 weeks later will not tell me when it will be fixed. Keep telling me that his help is in the hospital and will now not answer the phones. With this said the warranty company did hold him up by 1.5 days but this was all. So here I sit 2 weeks later and NO CAR!!! I have been told by my insurance company to call the police and have my car removed unrepaired and towed to another shop... I would NEVER TAKE YOUR CAR THERE!!!!!

Stay away, highway robbers

Dropped the car off for a wheel alignment, left it for THREE days with them. I got a call on the third day that the car was ready, so I walked the hour to the shop. After driving for a minute it was very obvious that they didn’t do the work. I went back to complain and got some smart mouth saying that the job was done and that he saw the mechanic working on it and that I didn’t know what I was talking about. After speaking to the manager he admitted that the work wasn’t done. They wanted me to leave the car with them for A WEEK and that they will get to it when they could. I requested my money back.
They are a bunch of thieves, they charge you for work they do not do.
Buyer Beware.

Halfassed Job

True to the previous post. Charles McLean the sole worker and owner takes takes extensively long time for a simple job. He is never there and I can tell you one thing, cars have been sitting there for up to three years. Furthermore he does lie about the estimate finish time. Week after week and months after months... For a simple which he charged for four labor hours took five months time for a halfassed job.

Came out worst than when it went in

As stated in the title the car came out worst when it went in. Was Anyone was hardly working or at the shop and unprofessionally lied straight to my face. After six months I finally realize that CJM didn't know how to complete the job. No only did they not know they did significant damage to my car. I'm just giving you a review but it you go there expect your car to be there long term. Just put your insurance on hold when it is there.

For the last several years I've been dealing exclusively with the Levin Tire Center in Merrillvile. I have to say that not only do they have a great range of tire products, they also do excellent repair. Their front end alignment techs are spot on, and the staff has always been friendly, professional and informative. I'd recommend this company to anybody looking for tires or general repair services. Excellent company with which to do business.
